Sorry about this....I might be moving to Mumbai and am checking out different info..but I was wondering if anyone knew of any good Christian churches in Mumbai. The google search does not bring up any churches that look legitimate. I'm not to picky about denominations but just to give you an idea, I've attended baptist churches, pentecostal churches etc.

Again, sorry for bringing this up on this site. I just don't know where else to go. I am an international school teacher and will be looking into schools as well soon.....so any info on good international schools in Mumbai would be helpful. It seems that they have quite a few....

You might also try posting in a travel forum like Lonely Planet's Thorn Tree forums.

Oh they are there, but they keep a very low profile. You wont find them on a web search, but when you get there, it wont be hard to find one. Might take you a week tops. They are very small, and tend to have informal services. Its not unusual for the "church" to be a multi purpose room an hour or so before prayer service starts. The one i went to was about 20 folding chairs and a card table set up as the alter. It was "cozy" and the mass was only about 30 minutes long (no music/choir), and the homily was maybe 5 minutes.
