Multilingual and Language teaching

Hello everyone,

I speak, read and write 4 languages: German, English, French and Spanish. I am currently teaching French at a Canadian public school and am interested in expanding my horizons and to see what's out there.

I have a EU passport, but no IB qualifications, sadly.

I am currently completing my 3rd year of teaching.

I have two questions:

1. What's it looking like in Europe in terms of language teaching at international schools? I have just started registering with SEARCH and have not been able to browse any vacancies yet.

2. Are there some international schools willing to train non-IB qualified applicants?

Thank you :)

I'm not sure about language teaching in Europe but I believe that multilingualism is always an asset. The language you would be teaching would probably depend on what you are certified to teach, which I presume is French. Schools will train non-IB qualified applicants if they deem you a favourable candidate.
