Vietnam in general
I was considering Vietnam before I was told the health care there is atrocious. Is this accurate?

I live in Vietnam with my wife and two-year-old. Healthcare in Saigon is quite good and all of the insurance companies have emergency air evac to Bangkok or Singapore just in case.
There are three private expat clinics with foreign doctors and one decent expat hospital in town. Plenty of families have also had their kids here.
Outside of Saigon it's an entirely different story. There really isn't much...
I've been teaching internationally for 12 years (mostly in the developing world) and I find the care here to be more than adequate.
