Does anyone know anything about this school? There's no reviews in the other section.
An agency sent me details saying they are looking for a Grade 5 teacher.
Thanks.

I know a little bit about them as I had an interview/visit with them at their main campus on Sukhumvit 49 a couple of years ago. They teach around the Reggio-Emilia philosophy, with a big focus on art and the physical environment. Their campuses are beautiful. I know that 2 of their 3 or 4 facilities are early childhood only - either ages 1-6 or 3-6, I think. When I met with their director, Jackie, on the main campus, I was told they only teach ages 3 to 9 - up to third grade. So I don't know anything about a grade 5 class - I'd contact the school directly to ask about it. I do know that some of their teachers have more of an arts background than a teaching background, so I don't know how that changes the atmosphere.
It is supposed to be an excellent school with a good package. I'd say it's worth checking out.

Thanks for the reply. I have checked out their website and it appears they go up to Grade 4 now, perhaps they are trying to add a grade each year as the cohort moves though. I'll double check. Perhaps not the right school for me though since visual arts aren't exactly an area of expertise.

Any recent news about this school? In particular, the City School? Their website doesn't give any details about the staff or teachers. I've never heard of this school before and am wondering about their reputation. Any info greatly appreciated!

The reviews beyond the pay-wall on this site are universally negative. Stay away! Boss appears to have 'issues' and you should be able to find better teaching gigs in Bangkok.
