Does anyone prefer either the Search Associates London fair to the CIS London fair, or vice versa? They are both so close together. Are there schools that attend both? Would it be a good idea to sign up for both?
Thank you.

It's all apples or oranges....pretty much.
I like Search. I have been with them for over 10 years. Others may disagree; However, just chose the one that's most convenient for you.
If the dates overlap, I'd chose the later fair. Recruiters often keep candidates hanging when the fairs are close together so they can pick and choose. The later fair when two are close together often determine their decisions.

Interesting... the Search fair is three days later or so. I want to know which schools will be at the CIS fair, but it is not on their site. Will it ever be? I am still applying, so maybe I will access to that information after acceptance?
I am looking into ISS San Francisco also, which is about a week or two later (I need to look at the dates again) But I've heard the horror stories about jobs being gone by then. So I am not sure at all which one to go to. Maybe all of them??
Thanks.

A slight advantage to CIS is that schools have to be CIS accredited to recruit through them. This is generally a sign of better quality schools. That does not mean to say that there are not some excellent schools at Search or not a few bad apples that have managed to get themselves CIS accredited but it might be something to bear in mind for beginners.

Surely the most important factor is that there are schools and positions that you are interested in at the fair. After all, there is little point in attending the fair if there are no positions or schools attending that you want to work at.
I think that both CIS and SA have a list of schools attending on their website. You can also view the available positions too.
I signed up for both, but ended up only attending one because of the above reason. If you give enough notice to cancel, there shouldn't be a problem.
