We are very interested in UWC singapore...but are wondering if they hire teachers from the US? It appears that they attend only the Sydney search fair and looking at their web site it does not appear that there are US teachers on staff..Does anyone have any info on this school? We really like the philosophy and are familiar with the World College in New Mexico.

There are some decent reviews in the paid section. Having taught at SAS I'm very familiar with UWC. They do hire Americans. When I was in Singapore, most of the American kids went to SAS, but UWC was often the 'second' choice,- at least for those parents. However for many non-Americans, it was their first option.
