Does anyone have any information on why there are so many openings at Shanghai American School this year? Is there a great deal of growth perhaps? Looking on TIE online many openings are still listed in almost every grade and at every level.

Having never worked there, SAS 'normally' has a relatively high number of openings- or at least has the last few years. I assume it's because of it's size.

If you check out their website, most of those vacancies have been filled. They probably just don't update their TIE stuff. I think that school has over 350 teachers, so their turnover might look high, but given the number of staff, it's probably around 7-12% every year, which is healthy.
