Are there still jobs for a pair of married new teachers?

Good day to all!
Let me start off by saying I know my wife and I are a little late to the job finding game internationally so I understand there are only a few jobs out there, but we still want to try.
We are both finishing up our Masters in Teaching program, she is certified in primary education, and I am secondary social studies, both of us have coaching backgrounds. we have looked around at the career fairs offered on these sites there is nothing available to us without flying a few hours. We really are willing to travel anywhere to teach and look forward to working with the students and the experience of teaching over seas before we have kids. Our question is where can we go to look for the job openings that are out there? Our university hasn't to this point really helped us out outside the states so now that we have all of our ducks in a row we'd really love some advice and tips.
My e-mail is
hghjmper@yahoo.com if you have a question or comment that you don't want to see posted on the board. Thank you all to any advice, tips, or leads for us concerning jobs ;) it'd all be appreciated.
Thank you!

There are positions open, and I would subscribe to
www.tieonline.com as they list lots of positions - even once the school year starts.
If you are looking at one of those jobs, could you live/travel to that country, or would the money/job be the only thing keeping you there? Are there travel opportunities? Is there enough for you to do so that even if the job stinks, you could get by because of all the extras? This will narrow down the openings and at least allow you to get through a possibly bad job experience - now you have experience and are in much greater demand.
You easily could find a job now - just don't get stuck somewhere because the money was good/they actually offered you a job. I would also be appreciative of all the extra things you could do, as well as see, in your new country. Many people complain about their job experience when they are in an exotic location with immense travel opportunities. Those people (who complain in these circumstances) remind me of spoiled children. Sure the job may not be the greatest, but wow! Look at the opportunities that are available - travel to exotic locations, airfare to your country, many travel opportunities. That sounds cool to me!

For what its worth, I would invest the money to try and register with Search Associates. I have found the job listings more comprehensive then TIE and they offer very detailed information about the school's salary, benefits, make up of students/faculty and the possible savings potential.
Even if you do not find a position this year, the information will still be very valuable as you see the pattern of postings, job fairs etc.
That being said, there are many schools that are or will be still looking for teachers before the fall (if you are flexible where you start).

As a teaching couple you should have no problems finding work, and good work. I would join Search Associates. Ray Sparks is a good guy to have working for you.

I looked through search associates and it looks really good, but at $200 per person, is it really worth the $400 for both my wife and I? I do see how they send you to recruitment fairs and other stuff, we just don't have the money to travel to those different fairs and none of them are any near where we live.
I've been looking at some of the different schools, just fun trying to find that location that needs both a secondary social studies/history teacher and a k-8 teacher as well, good times let me tell you :)

All I can say is that $200.00 is a worthwhile investment for the information that will be at your fingertips. Search has a great searchable database that lets you search by opening, country, partner's teaching area etc.
Also, schools are not always going to provide the information available on search to a candidate unless they are interviewing you. The school file on Search can tell you at a glance whether it is a good situation for you.
I hate to sound like a commerical for them, and in reality my associate has never done a dmn thing for me. Even if you never go to a fair, it would be well worth it just for the job/school info.
Also, you could possibly just sign up one of you to get access (especially if you never plan on going to a job fair).
