SEARCH or UNI

This is my 5th year teaching (3 stateside, 2 in South America). I have been teaching in mainstream classes the whole time, but have my Master's in TESOL and would really prefer an ESL position over another classroom.

I went to the AASSA fair in 2007, and had a great experience. For my next position I am looking worldwide, so I need to choose a fair that has schools from around the world. It would be cheaper for me to fly to Boston for the SEARCH fair (should I be invited to, which I'm a bit concerned about reading previous posts), and I feel like there will be more variety of schools there, but I have heard really positive reviews about UNI? They are both the same weekend. Any thoughts on which would be a better experience and where I might have more luck of finding a quality school willing to hiring me with my credentials?

I vote for UNI, it is a professionally run fair with great opportunities for people with all sorts of experience. I also think the folks at UNI are more receptive than SEARCH.

You might try and look at the actual schools that are going to each fair. An ESL position is more of a specialist one. Are schools that possibly have an opening more apt to be at either fair?

I do agree that UNI is more teacher friendly.
