I am a first year elementary teacher looking to go oversees next year, pref. Europe. I have the opportunity to attend a level 1 PYP workshop next week up in Vancouver and am wondering if this training will help improve my chances of being hired. The training is pretty expensive ($700), not to mention two days I will have to take off work unpaid. Is it worth the time and money?

A little background info..

B.A., Dietetics (Registred Dietitian)- taught nutrition education in public schools for many years.

M.S., Education (Elementary)- Currently subbing (1st year)

Attending London Search job fair next month.
Attended international school myself as a student.

Thanks for your help!!

Dear Mike,

I am sure that the MYP doesn't miss you too much. It is not a curriculum in a box, it is a programme for those who believe that delivering a holistic education takes more than just believing in it.
