One Year Contracts

I currently three months into a one year contract and am considering leaving after this year. School is great but the quality of life is not and I cannot foresee myself, or many other colleagues for that matter, staying after this year.
Will directors at other schools see this as a problem? I am not breaking contract but I have been told that anything less than two years is a red flag for directors.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated!

I think that schools offer a one year contract for a reason. As long as you fulfill your contract I think you are ok. Try to stay at your next job 2 or 3 years. I think directors are realistic that not all jobs and locations fit all people.
