Adopted Child Accepted in new school?

I am an experienced IB teacher, and have taught in 2 good schools in 2 countries over the last 5 years. I recently got married and am in the process of adopting my wife's daughter.
I am looking at applying for a particular school in the country my wife comes from. Work is not a problem for her as she can get a local job no problem.
Will the school offer my daughter free education? The school package states up to 3 kids free as a benefit. Will this be an issue as we have not changed the name yet to our married name? Has anyone had any experience in this sort of thing? Do schools mind hiring a teacher with dependents if they are a good candidate and the school has plenty of money?
Any help would be great!
Thanks.

I don't think you'll have any problems at all if you can produce a document showing the adoption is in process or has at least been initiated. My two kids went tuition free from k-12 overseas. My feeling is any school that will not work with you on this is a school to be avoided.

I don't know your situation exactly, but one thing came to mind when reading your post.
Does the school know you are married to someone from the host country? I would find out about the schools policy in regards to you being married to a local. In some places, they may put you on a local hire salary (which can be significantly lower). Not all places do this, but it seems like some places I have been to have been very adamant about switching overseas hires to local hires once they are married to someone from the host country. Some don't wait for the honeymoon to be over before dropping the "salary change bomb". I would find out what their policy on this is.
If you have documentation proving that you have legally adopted your daughter, you should receive tuition. Again, I would check on their policy regarding children of the host country.

Thanks Fran,
I will wait and see which schools are willing to work with me, and I agree on what you said. I appreciate your comments.
All the best,

Thanks Candycane,
I understand what you mean about the local hire situation. I think it depends on the school and where I am hired. The good news is that I don't NEED to move there, so will only take it if they offer me the overseas hire package. We enjoy where we are and both have good jobs, so will see what happens!
Thanks for your comments, they are much appreciated!
Kind regards,
