Most UWC teachers are a pretentious, self-lauding bunch. SAS teachers are much more down to earth and willing to share and learn form others. UWC teachers tend to just think they're the ones that do the teaching and you need to listen!

You are spot on about UWC teachers. Some British teachers think that nobody else can teach the IB diploma better than them. The irony is that UWCSEA hires several newbies from UK universities and majority of their staff is British, which is contrary to the ethos of the UWC movement.
P.S. Don't we all know the disparity in the pedagogical research done in the UK and the good old US of A?
