Its a nice cliche but teachers have "more" then their word, they have resumes with marketable characteristics. This is not an integrity competition. Its business, organizations compete for talent all the time, everyday. Maintaining this illusion that character is the only factor one brings to the table is naive or disingenuous.

Disagree...you sign a contract, or agree you are bound. You are not going to very successful by breaking your word in this market. Sure some can get away with it but I believe it will catch up with them. And it's unethical, don't know many quality schools who will willingly hire someone who they know behaves in such a way.

If you sign a contract, honor it, providing the other . does the same.
