hahaha... whoever told you that is pulling your leg! I work here and I think I've seen one pic of the Queen.

m101, you are SO lucky! Why is it so hard to get shortlisted at that place?!
I thought I had put a decent application pack together and was a very good match for one of their positions, but I didn't get shortlisted. Boohoo!

m101, I have an interview with Mr Knott, any advice? Just general stuff about what they like to focus on, do they ask you to teach in interview etc?
Would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

They have loads of applications.... I just got lucky 8 years ago when they needed someone quick :)
They really do seem to prefer hiring teaching couples there these days though, so if you're not one I think you stand less of a chance. For High School they really want IB experience where possible.
It is a great school to work at and I'm going to be sad to say goodbye in July.... I'll be at the Search fair this weekend looking for a change of scene :)

Sorry.... only just came back on here! I teach in the High School so have probably only said hello to David Knott in passing! So I really can't help in terms of what he's going to be asking you or asking you to do in the interview. Best of luck for your interview.... it is a good school to work in and the package they are offering involves quite a large increase in the pay scale next year :)

Guess what I got today? An email from this school advising me I hadn't been shortlisted! I'd kind of worked that out already! They don't know what they're missing!
Anybody else ever hear anything?
