Teaching Overseas

Post by nampham1 »

I am currently completing my Bachelor of Education at UBC Vancouver and am interested in teaching overseas at an international school (because of scarce jobs, travel, experience, etc.) However, my teaching experience is limited.

Does anyone have recommendations of international schools to apply to? Advice? Contacts?

I am fairly open to a number of locations, as long as I have the opportunity to save money at the same time.

Thanks for any responses!

Maple Leaf International Schools in China pay well, I think only recruit BC teachers and hire lots of newly graduated teachers. Look up their website. I think their main schools are in Dalian, Wuhan and Chongqing.

There is also one in Teda, near Tianjin. Personally, I wouldn't recommend teaching there though. The school across the road, Teda International School, is better and pays better.
