Its more than 50%, there are just so many ISs (especially EC ISs) that follow the typical JP tradition. Even if they did offer you a multiple year contract youre not going to get anything more than the standard 1 year HIS visa as an IT (Engineers generally get 3 years). Meaning your contract is effectively a 1 year contract as the IS doesnt have to sponsor the visa renewal.
