What to wear to a job fair?

Ok there is the question. I read somewhere not to wear a black power pantsuit for the ladies but when then do you wear to a job fair that projects confidence, seriousness, and other qualities that you need to teach abroad. I'm guessing you need a sense of adventure right? So could your clothes convey that? What do you guys think about what I should wear? Is boots alright if you are wearing a dress? Is it alright to wear jewelry?

I think its ok to distinguish yourself from the other candidates but I don't know if you necessarily want to stick out. I still remember the guy in the white suit from our first UNI job fair. Its important to look professional but you need to wear something comfortable to sit or stand in all day and make sure to wear shoes that are easy on your feet.
