Mushrooms, Linked-in and Recruiters

Hi All,

If your reading this post - I'm guessing the subject may have peaked your interest in a 'what the hell are they talking about??' sort of way.

I just wanted to know if people who have active linkedin profiles seem to be getting a plethora of recruiters (companies - not specifically schools) trying to add you on linkedin. I honestly believe if I added all of them I'd have over 100 recruiters on my professional contact list over the last year (I kind of stopped after 5 or 6).

It seems that recruiters are popping up like mushrooms. Is the same happening to anyone else?

I never add them, most of them tend to be more on the ESOL side.
