Placement firms for Korea

Post by Nomads »

My nephew is interested in teaching English in Korea. He is a college grad, but not in teaching.

Can anyone recommend a credible company that could help him get a job in Korea?

Thanks

This question would be better suited for Daves ESL, but I would use the search because that question has probably been asked and answered a 100 times (http://www.eslcafe.com/). Also I think Korvia only works with public schools, and its kinda of pointless to use an agency to apply for public schools. Applying direct is faster, and everything they do you can with an internet search. If he is looking for an after school academy job then he should use many recruiters.

Yes. Eslcafe is better suited

However, you can't apply directly to public schools themselves, you have to either go through an agency (such as korvia) or apply to EPIK, GEPIK or SMOE, who will put you in touch with schools.

As for private schools (hagwons), you can apply directly/with an agency.

I would also recommend Daves ESl Cafe, if you are looking more for an agency I would recommend Footprints:
