Curriculum Coaches: salary differences?

Are there stipends/salary differences for teachers who are hired as curriculum coaches?
Is this typical? Stateside it's a different classification.

In my experience they are on the same salary scale, just different responsibilities.

::Looking Around:: How long is a piece of string? ISs generally have two professional scales: 1) Faculty, 2) Leadership.
A curriculum coach may be placed on the instructional/faculty salary scale, or they may be placed on the faculty scale at step +X or they may be placed on the faculty scale with TLR. A curriculum coach could also be on the leadership scale at the junior admin level.
