Professional Development

Putting aside classroom experience (the best teacher), what professional development have you felt most aided your career, either through its applicability in practice, or marketability in career movement?

I would say if I had to choose it was my Google Educator which actually effected by practical classroom practice. IB was helpful early in my career, but it was the experience not the workshop that helped my resume. I cant say what my IB teaching award accomplished, as I cant compare how my marketability would have been effected without it.
There really isnt any "good" PD thats going to make a difference in marketability for any IT, in any scenario you will find ITs who are successful both with it and with out it. if its something that makes you think differently about your classroom and you can make it work, and it works for your students than thats good PD, but I can also see how the same PD would not impact an IT at all, and they would go and be successful without it.
