There is no way to have what you're looking for at a 2nd tier school in Malaysia...they don't pay enough....The idea of living in Putrajaya and commuting to KL would be a commuting nightmare...traffic here is bad and the mass transit is built to accommodate the local population not ex-pats.

We have a house, semi detached, a garden and a dog and car. We live in a regular neighborhood, not a compound. Kids bike around the neighborhood and down to the shops/restaurants. There're two parks nearby, one bigger with a basketball half court, play equip and a small football pitch. We live a very normal kind of life.
