Terrorism can hit anywhere and anyone could be the next target. Thats how terror works.

You guys have been downplaying the safety/security element of teaching overseas for years, often stating that these incidents, like the recent Istanbul bar massacre, happen much more frequently in the U.S.

Why the sudden turnaround?

Reisigio,

Serious question: Are you Armenian? You seem to hate Turkey.

I havent changed my position, you could be in the wrong place at the wrong time anywhere whether its Paris, Istanbul, Bangkok Boston, etc.

Turkey just isnt expat friendly at the current time, if the political issues create an opportunity that you can take advantage of now, that will improve by the time you have to be on site thats how risk and reward work. Want more luck take more risks.
