Are teachers staying put?

Post by fine dude »

It's almost November and I don't see many vacancies at established schools. Are folks staying put or am I sensing calm before the hiring storm?

Upper tier ISs really never had a storm of hiring, but its still early, even the ISs that closed their intent period before the end of October still have a lot of work to do. Panic would be more appropriate come 1 December.

The number of postings on search seem about the same as most years.

i wish my account stayed active so i could see postings on search. i'm under contract but it would be still nice to look through and be able to see different school packages.

@vandsmith

You can re-register if you want access again, SA membership is good for three years and you can easily spin that you want to start early for your next contract as your intent is to move into leadership.
