No experience in IB - would I be hired

I have over 20 years teaching in Independent schools but none have been IB, would I be considered for an admin position at an IB school?

Of course, at ones where they want an independent school leader more than they want an IB fanboy or fangirl. They exist. You just have to hit it right. Good luck.

Do you have any leadership experience in those 20 years or is it all classroom?

If your expectation is that you will move from the classroom to IB leadership solely based on that classroom experience I dont find that probable.

If you have leadership experience in independent DSs you could move down a step/tier and move into an IB leadership position.
