I would concur with @SJ, at some point even at your own IS when renewing your visa youre degrees could be rejected again, requiring another 'visit' from your IS to 'discuss the issue'. If you move ISs in the future your new IS would have to apply for another visa for you and they may not have or want to expend equivalent resources to renew your visa. Its very much a temporary fix, that works as long as your IS is continually willing to make things happen.

Youve covered the main regions with issues, but there are varying amounts of acceptability. Thailand recently increased scrutiny of online degrees, and Myanmar is publishing new requirements (yours would be fine), but an IS may not have the confidence to hire on an online degree. A government sponsored IS may have different requirements than an independent IS. The issue is constantly evolving, things can and will change.

Your issue is an uncommon one, usually ITs have a F2F brick and mortar Uni for their undergrad degree and its their masters that is a distance/online degree. They can use the undergrad degree for immigration purposes, and leave the issue of acceptability for scale and marketability to the IS.

You shouldnt take this issue personally your degrees are completely valid and accredited, this is a political issue, and will likely change and evolve in time. Its just wrong place/wrong time.
