What to do if a principal is threatening staff?

Post by Mathman »

Hi everyone

While working through the school processes might remove the principal from the position. What do staff have to fall back on when he threatens to blackball all of us on the head's forum?

No such scenario exists in reality. The most you see on AISH and HEADnet is a couple of forum messages that if anyone is recruiting "X" IT to contact them.

A senior/executive admin/leader that made such a claim is an empty threat. IE leaders arent brain dead, any such attempt would be viewed more as an issue/problem with the particular admin/leader by the leadership membership, and the nutters in leadership have just as much a rep.
Its nothing more than a hollow management compliance attempt. Its an empty threat that uses an irrational fear mediate risky behavior.

Aside from that is such a claim were valid and received as such there is zero you could do about it, but there is no black list and messages maturate, time passes, new admins rise, veterans leave and retire.
