How long do schools generally keep your CV on file for ??
It depends both on policy and regulatory statute generally they fit in the following categories:
1) Until the vacancy is filled.
2) The recruiting year, academic year, or other milestone is reached or ends.
3) 30 days
4) 90 days
5) 180 days
6) 1 year
7) Indefinitely
In my experience the mode is a year (though there is variability is how ISs define a year).
