International shipping suggestions needed!

I need to ship 2.5 cubic meters of my belongings from Indonesia to Mexico. The estimate by AlliedPickfords is huge. Can anyone recommend any methods to use or companies to contact? I've hear about seamail, pallet shipping, freight forward. I can't take as extra plane cargo as I'm already in Mexico. I really need some cheaper ideas. Panic!

May I suggest Asian Tigers, which I have used twice, most recently shipped 20 cubic meters from Thailand to Sri Lanka. I recommend them highly, their website.....asiantigers-mobility.com....

COuld you use excessbaggage.com? Although I've read negatives, I experienced only good things...and they were MILES cheaper than anyone else. You might have too much stuff, but still worth checking out. Also, Crown can be reasonable (though the service is very dependant on where you are located).
