You might want to do a search for "water" and "Sao Paulo", it might be informative.

What do you want to know? I loved it there, very modern, lots of excitement, great social and night life, cheap if you live on the economy. You can live pretty well there on a decent salary. Tropical weather close to the beach. The woman are amazing, some of the most beautiful in the world, they have a celebration and festival for everything.

São Paulo is an amazing city. If you are teaching at one of the International Schools, I'm sure you will be living in one of the nicer neighborhoods like Alphaville. When I was living in Brazil, the exchange rate was 2:1 USD and it is now 3:1. Just keep that in mind if you are making Reais or Dollars. You can find some of the best food in the world in São Paulo. There is a very high Japanese population which results in a beautiful blend of cuisines. As with any major city, use common sense to protect yourself against petty crime.

Pros:
Food
Nightlife
Women
Futbol (VAI CORINTHIANS!!!!)
Music
Art

Cons:
Traffic
Pollution
Crime
