Tiers of schools in Germany?

Does anyone have a rough idea of which schools are the most desirable/competitive in Germany? Yes, I know it depends on what you teach, but I'm talking about in general. Which schools have the longest lines at the fairs?

are the top 3.
Smaller schools are Bonn, Dusseldorf, Franconian, Dresden...
Am I missing one?

Yep. You get something for your taxes there. But I don't want to get into a political discussion about the value of taxes... that's why I want to leave the US!

Germany is a great place to live. Germans value nature. You can see where the tax dollars go. I loved living there.
Taxes can be a bit overwhelming but the schools provide a living wage. If you are careful you can save but there is so much to see in that area of the world. They also usually have great pension plans if you stick around long enough.
