Subsaharan Africa

Post by Amnesiac »

Which schools in Subsaharan Africa allow for a relatively high standard of living, good social opportunities (for a single), while not being overly remote or isolated?

Essentially, I wouldn't want to be in isolated in the middle of nowhere, overworked, bored, or constantly frustrated with day-to-day living conditions.

Quite awhile back I lived in Uganda. Good social opportunities and lots of expats. You won't save much but you will live comfortably and travel it good. Also relatively safe

The only place Id go in S.Africa is Johannesburg/Capetown. AISJ and BIC would give you the highest level of lifestyle.

As a teacher don't expect any support from their director. He spent 6 years in Shanghai as an admin not supporting his teachers.
