Moving abroad with a family
Moving abroad with a family
I am a UK primary teacher with a wife and three kids. We are looking for a change of lifestyle and are looking to apply to an international school. We are thinking Vietnam, China or South Korea but want wages and package that will support my family. Are these places realistic or should we be looking elsewhere?

Re: Moving abroad with a family
This does not answer your question about the best location, but here is a link to another thread for a teacher who, like you, has a non-teaching spouse and 3 dependents. It contains some practical information, as that is probably the main consideration here. Good luck with your adventure. http://www.internationalschoolsreview.c ... f=1&t=4549

Another helpful post the echoed what we have been told by Search Associates is this post, http://internationalschoolsreview.com/v ... it=married. I have two kids ages 4 and 7, and a non-teaching spouse and Search Assoc. denied our application based on dependents alone. ISS accepted it, but requires a partner statement and also cautioned about expectations for interviews. What is your field? Best of luck!
