shipping from New York to East Africa

Hello,

we are currently in the process of moving. The school we will be working for does not provide shipping assistance. Would anyone recommend a shipping company that ships from upstate NY to East Africa?

You might want to find out what it would cost to ship it as excess baggage. Our last move, taking our stuff with us was over 1000 cheaper as excess baggage than shipping it - with the added benefit that it got there when we did!

Thanks, definitely something we will look into. I didn't really consider this option, but since we are not moving all our belongings, this might make sense (plus, it ensures that our luggage arrives with us)
