Best fair for top European Schools?

Post by overseashb »

We're looking ahead here, to next year or more, but wondering which fairs are best to attend to recruit for the top European schools? Hoping that Search London will be fine for this, but wondering if we should think about Bangkok. Also wondering if these schools generally recruit Dec/Jan time (when we'll be handing in our notice), or do they hold on later because of European employment/resignation laws?

Also - what schools do you consider tier 1 in Europe? Wondering if they match up with ours.

Thanks for your help.

Most of the big schools were in Bangkok
Zurich
Lausanne
Vienna
Luxembourg
Couple of the German schools
Istanbul

There were a few jobs posted by each but competitive :-)

Probably the above list in part answers your additional question

Many top European schools were scheduled to go to Search Bangkok, but in the end, they had few or no positions. Some of the schools were:

American School of the Hague
American School of Warsaw
Zurich International Schoool
American School of Budapest
Anglo American School of Moscow

The pickings were slim though!

Vienna, Luxembourg, Budapest, and Moscow are not really top tier any longer.
