I'm considering pursuing an opening ISY. The school reviews as well as posts on the forum suggest there are issues at the school with the administration. I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this. How is the new elementary principal working out? What's the atmosphere in the high school? What are people's thoughts about the school going forward? Thanks.

I live in Yangon, though I do not work at ISY. From my discussions with teachers there, I think people are currently pleased with the administration. The school is expanding quickly as Myanmar has opened up. It has a solid reputation and continues to look for ways to improve student learning. Their focus for the coming year, for example, will be the integration to technology. Yangon is an interesting city, and it's an exciting time to be in Myanmar. I think you would be pleased with a decision to work at ISY.
