The ISS Atlanta Fair is Dec. 8-10th. Is this too early to attend a fair and expect to get hired?

Not sure about the ISS fair, but I know my school attends the AASSA fair in Atlanta in late November/early December and does quite a bit hiring then.

Schools seem to keep moving up their date for current teachers to give notice for the following year. My school requires teachers to let the school know if they were returning by December 1st. Some schools require notice as early as November. I don't think schools are hiring quite as quickly in December, but it would be possible for many schools to know their needs.

Probably depends on where you want to get hired. I know that AASA fair is all South America and a fair bit of hiring goes on there.

I know a school in Saudi where it is early to mid-October. They have moved it up a whole month in the past 4 years...
