Buiyan No. 2 High School Guiyang, China

Post by grdwdgrrrl »

This is a start up A-level program backed by Pearson (Longman). Anyone know anything?
I've looked on TES forums and googled until I'm blue in the face without much result.

Thanks

It's correctly called, the Guiyang City Baiyun District No.2 Middle School.

Expect it to be run like a Chinese high school. Look at what people say about other Chinese high schools that run international programs and you'll get a pretty good idea of what to expect. All the students will be Chinese nationals.

I agree with eion_padraig its going to be a typical chinese run school with a pseudo international program. Local chinese management and bureaucratic policies. They will be third tier and as foreign staff you will probably get the light touch, and top salary compared to locals. With the confusion and wind up time you can probably coast while collecting your salary and doing nothing aside from showing up for the first couple of years. The downside is its not going to make you any more marketable after 2 years then you are now.
