If at job fair and you sign a contract..and by chance you happen to get another offer,could you sign and tell school you aren't interested?
Also,If you sign a contract and a few months later you happen to be offered another job..can you accept and let school know? Haven't done either...just wondeing :wink:

No, not if you listen to Search. The main point of the candidate orientation at Search is pretty much a repeat of the "word is your bond" mantra. They will remind you of all the bad horrible stuff that will happen to you; such as having to pay the placement fee yourself, not being represented by Search anymore, getting a bad reputation, losing your current position, having other agencies informed of your lack of integrity, all kinds of bad stuff.

*Yawn*

Of course you can do all those things and nothing bad really happens to you. I wouldnt do it AT the fair, theres going to be a lot of drama if you do it AT the fair. Once you sign a contract you shouldnt even be interviewing anymore (though I do).
Id sign the second contract, then tell the old school several months later you have a family emergency, major illness or death in the family and your really sorry but you cant work for them.
