High demand positions

I'm considering getting certified in a second subject (besides ICT) so I'm wondering what some of the more high-demand subjects are. Would schools consider me a newbie if I applied for a job in a different subject area or would they consider my years experience teaching ICT?

Yah they would consider you an inexperienced teacher if your teaching a subject you have no experience in, this means your less competitive and marketable. If you could get a 1st tier school with ICT your looking at going down to at least 2nd tier in a new subject.

Math, physical sciences, counselor, design technology.
