What arent you telling us? I ask because why doesnt he just transfer/apply for a classroom/teaching position at your current school? Thats the question thats going to go through any admin/recruiters mind. People go up the tiers and regions and up the responsibility hierarchy, not down, especially after 5 years at a top school and with a family. Thats going to be the real problem as opposed to his time out of the classroom.

How long has he actually been out of the classroom? Being a teacher is a different set of skills then being an administrator.

That's all very understandable, Those are just the thoughts that are going to run through a recruiters mind.

How long has your husband been out of the classroom?
