Dubai schools

Post by jubes »

My husband has been offered a job in the tertiary sector in Dubai and we are likely to move there in Jan 2013. From a teachers perspective can anyone recommend any good k-12 schools for my 7 and 10 year old.(British curriculum) There seems to be waiting lists everywhere so it would be nice to know also if there is a chance of getting into any. Is it better to go and knock on their doors in January(seems risky) or stay in Australia until a spot becomes available? Any advice would be great.

If you want British the best option are the JESS schools. There are two. They are the only non-profit British schools in the city from what I know. People really like them.

I have no idea about how difficult it is to get into them. Sorry.
