Looking for any recent information regarding working at this school and life there in general. I am aware that salaries in Italy tend to be low.
The campus seems to be located 10 km outside of Turin (in a town called Chieri), so is having a car necessary?

Not from personal experience, but a colleague of mine worked there and although it was beautiful and idyllic he could not stay more than two years: $$$ he almost went broke. Pay is low so if you ae looking for just a short stint and some Europe time it might be fun, but keep in mind you may go broke in the process.

Its a bottom 2nd tier school (maybe third). There is no real money or saving potential. It a very beautiful area, but you wont be able to afford to do anything. The schoo, is nice, no real after school commitments, and the kids are OK, admin tends to leave people alone. the parents are probabley the biggest stress, but its basically a commuter school. People come in, teach, leave, collect their pay, and go home.
