Hey expat, just wondering if you remember how long after your interview before you heard back from Aramco? The suspense is killing us! We interviewed a few weeks ago and they did tell us it would be at least four weeks...we are trying not to think about it as it is out of our hands but the not knowing does get to you. Thanks.

Thanks for getting back to me...I would not give up if I were you. Get your husband to talk to your friends there and see if that may sway him,,,you definitely want to be on the same page for such a big decision

My wife and I just got home from our interview with Aramco and we are hopeful for our chances. The experience was completely relaxed and they did a great job of putting you at ease and explaining many of the details of living and working in Saudi Arabia. It was a positive experience all around and we are now waiting to see what comes from the interview.
It was pretty much what we expected based on the great info posted here by others such as expatteacher99 and nareki(spelling?). So thanks to all of you for your information.

just curious as to what position your friend accepted at Saudi aramco. My wife and I just came back from an interview with them in Houston and I was wondering what your friends experience was as far as timeline? I would love to hear about it. My reaction from today is that if you are someone they truly want you have a shot...I would encourage your husband to apply to them for science at the middle school level...you never know unless you try.

Hello. It has been a while so I hope you are still monitoring this site. Would you happen to remember what your interview was like? My wife and I have an interview set up and I am assuming the sup and/or principal will be there...they said a team would be attending. We are trying to prepare for specific questions so any you might remember would be helpful...thanks very much for all your info thus far.

Psyguy have you actually worked at Aramco or is all of your information based on what you have heard from others? I have found your insights very informative and was just wondering how you came into the information you have? Also, you seem well informed on a great deal with international teaching. How long have you been at this and do you mind sharing what school you are with currently? Thanks for all of your contributions to this site I appreciate your perspectives.

Glad to hear about interview. Do you mind if I ask what subject you teach and what school you spoke to? Lastly, when you say you contacted adm did you just send a resume out of blue or was it in response to an advertised vacancy? Thanks for the insight and hope it works out for you.

Thanks expat...what do you teach and for how long? I think I mentioned I teach math but my passion is history...just never had the chance to teach it. How about yourself?
