Honestly, I kind of think you have the right idea. So many emails and applications I completed were for jobs that never materialized because they were tentative. It was sort of a waste of time and stress. I like your plan.

The same thing has been happening to me. I am sure that as soon as you forget about it, then you will here from them! ;-)

For the record, I heard from my current employer at the end of December regarding an interview, then nothing else for a month. When I did hear from them again in January, everything moved quickly, and here I am, four years later.

This is whole process is maddening. You just have to believe it all works out they way it is supposed to.

Can anyone speak to what the morale is currently like at this school? The last post on ISR had mentioned that the school board is causing tension with salary cuts proposed for the upcoming year. Wondering if it is worth applying to the school? I like to work in a positive work environment.
