I am part of teaching couple. We are planning on attending a job fair (or two). How important is it for both of us to be there? Is it all or nothing or is it okay for just one of us to go?

Did the principal give you specific examples of problematic behavior you need to change? How are you defining "warm and fuzzy"?

American School Dubai and GEMS American Academy have several positions open.

I checked with ISS and his school is considered an IS, but I agree that it doesn't feel right to claim IS experience. We are in Hawai'i and do have many students from different ethnicities and cultures (even at my public school) but I don't think he will claim IS experience.

Thanks for your feedback. I agree that "elite" isn't a great descriptor. I just want to emphasize that he is at a prestigious school and that might help elevate his status, especially since we have no international experience.

Congratulations on the job offer! I have no IT experience but am curious to see what experienced ITs have to say. We have applied to jobs not in our first choice areas, so we may be in the same situation one day.
