Last year, I tried to get an interview with this school at one of the major fairs. It was easily the longest line at the fair and there were many other so called Tier 1 schools at the fair. As such - if you get an interview or a position I'd personally think very carefully about accepting the position (for a good reason).
I don't like to say it - but many teachers do make decisions on where to work based on $$$$. This school has realised this to some degree (along with the school being in a desireable location) and can cherry pick staff to their hearts content as a result.

Re: Schools that provide housing
I guess there are many different factors when considering accommodation and schools. I'm currently based in central asia and my apartment is large, reasonably nice and includes most of the basics that you need. My co-workers also have reasonable apartments but I'm also aware that other schools in the same country in which I live have horrendous apartments.
However - in developing nations I guess it's more about what is available. In the country that I'm in, I think that my school has chosen the best they can get for a reasonable price. All I'll say is that some countries have no idea of good use of space (but I guess that's better than having a small apartment)....

Being contacted by schools....
Hi all,
I've got a bit of a strange question here. Over the last few days, I was contacted by a school on Search Associates that stated that they had a position that I may be suited for,
What has been your experiences with schools contacting you directly? Has is been positive, negative or mixed??
