I drive past it quite often. It is in Sports City, an area of unfinished , empty apartment blocks and building sites. Construction has stopped on these buildings due to the financial crisis a few years ago. They will probably never be finished and will remain as windowless concrete frames. The school building seems nice, as do many buildings here (but many are actually broken inside). I dont know anything else about the school.

As you discovered, only having two years of teaching A levels is not great experience.

Three years ago I found out that having five years of AP Calculus and Physics experience is not as strong as you would think, especially if you want to get into an IB school. The only schools which care about AP are the American schools and the crap Chinese schools. It is all about having IB experience.

This time, with five years AP Calculus and three years DP and MYP Mathematics (including HL) it was extremely easy to get a job before Christmas.

I probably will return to the UK to teach but I suppose it depends on how well I get on with teaching abroad. However I will have to complete my NQT year within 5 years to teach again in the UK:/

Are you sure this is true? As far as I am aware you have five years to complete the induction year once you start it. There is no time limit as to when you can start it.
