Completing a State Approved Teacher Prep Program
How do I list this on my resume. I have a certificate that says I completed a SATPP--(post-bachelors) so I have always thought I earned a teaching certificate from X university (I then got a license from the state). I just read an article (tips on emailing directors) that stated when the director sees "teaching certificate" from X University, he moves on to the next resume as universities do not issue teaching certificates. Is SATPP a known acronym? Thanks!

Re: Countries that don't require Teacher License/Certificate
Sid,
Thanks for your response. I was being a wee bit sarcastic with my definition of "magic". He couldn't jump through any of the hoops without those words on his transcript. In my state there is NO OTHER WAY to get a teaching license (in addition to steps 2-4).

Countries that don't require Teacher License/Certificate
Hi all, Does anyone know which countries grant working visas for teachers without a license? Teacher has degrees and experience but no certificate/license. Thanks!

Re: QSI Summer Recruitment Fair
Thanks for all of the replies. I read through most of the info on this site and gathered that there are some good experiences and some bad. My husband and I are very experienced teachers yet have zero international experience. My husband's school is part of ISS but I don't think he can claim "international" experience. So, I'm not sure we can be too picky. I think we will go to Seattle just to check it out. On a side note, how on earth can they keep some of the schools open? Most of their schools have enrollments under 200!

Thanks for your replies. I edited the original question (taking out Europe). Any experience with any of the QSI schools?

QSI Summer Recruitment Fair
Does anyone work at or have experience with QSI schools? They are having a summer recruitment fair for 2016-17 SY in Seattle.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I think having the wife and baby are more valuable than what you teach.

Lifestyle for sure-- assuming you can support your family.
